Digital Printing
Ball-Steeltin is the first company in the United States to offer Digital Printing on Metal, providing production of small quantities of multi-colored metal packaging for uses that were previously economically unobtainable. Low volume applications include test market, short run promotional items and time sensitive "ship to release" schedules.

This new capability provides three distinctive features for users of promotional metal packaging:

  1. Set-up charges with digital printing on metal are reduced from the traditional costs of $4,000 - $6,000 down to just $250
  2. Turnaround time is reduced from several months to 3 to 5 days and
  3. Minimum production runs of high quality metal packaging are reduced from thousands to as little of 250 units.

Applications for this new capability are endless, as cans are available in a large variety of shapes and sizes from small cosmetic containers to 6½ gallon popcorn pails

Packaging is available in a large variety of shapes including square, rectangular, octagon, hexagon and oval container shapes.
